Description Of Work: Checked and repaired breaker box in our home. Replaced all breaker switches. Sealed electrical lines entering house and sealed outside meter housing to prevent future water damage.

Review: Several electrical circuits in our house were not working. We believed the problem was related to our breaker box which had had water damage roughly 2 years earlier. The problem became worse over a few days, but finally, on a Saturday morning our kitchen circuit was out, including the refrigerator. I found Jim through Angie's List. He answered his cell phone and agreed to come over in around 2 hours, which he did. Needless to say, we were grateful to get such quick service on a Saturday. He did the most urgent work, which restored our power for the weekend. He explained what he was about to do clearly and gave us an estimate for a second stage of work (replacing all breaker switches). He and a co-worker returned as agreed (on our schedule) and completed the work according to the estimate. They were neat, polite and as unobtrusive as possible. Review: I called JDO Electric for an estimate. Jim picked up the phone himself and scheduled a time to come over and give us an estimate.  He was very prompt and professional. Jim knew that I needed to get a smoke certificate from the fire department and he was able to schedule and complete the work within a few days. Once the work was completed he was diligent about getting the work inspected by the wire inspector, to ensure compliance, and helped me secure the smoke certificate.
